Recommendations for a former Rolex wearer?
I'm just learning about Breitling's and to be honest, I've seen them in stores and never took a second look at them, primarily because they looked huge and enormous. What are some models that are not so huge and weigh a ton? I've recenlty sold two submariners and I'm looking for something a little more original that every Tom, Dick and Harry isn't wearing. Any recommendations? I'm not a huge, huge, guy, med athletic build, Hence I hear all the former NFL players, TV sportscasters are all big Breitling fans, ..Thanks

You can't go wrong with a in-house Navitimer.

IMO if youre trying to get away from what a lot of people are wearing, you could do far greater then breitling... Take a look at glashute, grand seiko, jlc, zenith and perhaps something from nomos. All can be found in the same price range as a breitling. But if you're really thinking breitling, either a vintage navi or the new 01 navi are classic

The Navitimer is an iconic watch and well worth owning. It's a large watch (though not so much by today's standards). It truly is an instrument.
I also like the Transocean line. I bought the 38mm version and am happy with it: |

I know it sounds strange, but have you considered a Ulysses Nardin? I see them from time to time and I absolutely love them. Not a lot of people have them. I'm all about having things that not a lot of people have, something unique, etc. I see Breitlings all the time, very accessible brand...
