"Padi56" just recently stated that the movement inside the Lady YM (Cal. 2235) has the best first time pass rate with the Swiss COSC in the Rolex line up.

(refer to this thread).

Bo, Thank you so much for the info. My friend is wanting to buy this for his wife as a birthday gift. He has called two AD's in the Houston area, and both are telling him $7,100 with no discount. Is that realistic?

Try Lewis Jewelers in Webster off Hwy.3, phone # 281-332-8433. They have been reasonable with me (the only they don't discount are SS Daytona, Milgauss, and SS Sub Date). Try to get at least 10% off.

The Lady YM is a great watch, shharing the same excellent movement with the midsize YM, and Ladies DJ.

He just called and they told him $7,800 instead of $7,100 that he was quoted from Ben Bridge at Baybrock

Wow, BB gives better price than Lewis? That's a first for me!

He has never purchased a Rolex before and maybe he is a bit shy when it comes to the negotiating skills. Either way, I told him that he should ask for a 10% discount. He has already discovered the gray market's online. He says they are selling for 6k. I told him unless he was sure, as a first time buyer, I would go with an AD. But to each his own
