Difference between M series and Z series Subs?
First question, does the first letter of the serial number determine the series?
Second question, what's the difference between an "M" and the "Z"? Is M old stock? |

M Serial is the latest serial letter. Some M serials may have the new CRB on the Rehaut. Some later Z's started to have it. Other than that no difference.
Might be worth saying that when I purchased my SD in Nov it had just come in directly from Rolex UK as a Z.

Jon said it.
I can but add that some Z-series are issued with the old-style paper certificate whereas most LATE Z-series would have the credit card certificate (CCC) like the M-series have.

I suppose so, but my AD in Cardiff is having stock in from Rolex UK with Z and M but in real terms M is supposed to be the later serial. But in answer to your question, M is current.

I hope you get a nice SS Sub Date soon. If you get a Z or an M-series does not really matter.
