Blue dial 41mm RO & ROC - Boutique only?

We all know the BS that sellers at ADs spin. They hit me with this one the other day. Anyone of you have been told the same?

They are telling the truth. They use to be both AD and Boutique, then AP pulled them into Boutiques only now.

I didn't know about the ROC but for the 15400 RO it's accurate. I think it happened sometime in the Spring/Summer this year.

But, I bought my blue dial 15400 at my AD in Beverly Hills this year. I think AP rewards high volume dealers with certain pieces like the 15400 blue.

It's absolutely true. I too bought my 15400 Blue at my regular AD, but was very lucky as he still had one in stock - and just before they terminated their agency for AP due to the huge stock levels AP wanted them to hold. But he too confirmed that they are now boutique only. Also the boutique in Singapore told me they would be limited to 500 in total, then no more - don't know if that can also be verified by others? Don't know about ROC though - my blue dial ROC is an older 39mm model.

I was offered a blue at one of my AD at 10% off but didn't get it, now seriously regretted.

Heard the same from AP Singapore. I was purchasing the new Jumbo and was told that the 15400 blue is being discontinued after the 500 pieces production and then no more so its going to be limited and might be sought after. I still went ahead to get the Jumbo as I already set my mind on it but I must say I was swayed a little by this and almost got the 15400 blue. Only thing the size at 41mm doesn't do it for me for a royal oak and if I get it its only because of the limited status.

The AP AD in Helsinki had very few RO/ROO models last week when I was looking for a Diver to try on. Under 10, and this included atleast 5 women models...

Thomas, is AP doing a hat-trick to push sales to their boutiques?
Lindroos in Helsinki has for years put very little emphasis on AP. They have been tucked away inside in a small display case, no mention on the outside that they even sell AP.
