How resistant are RO's and ROO's to external shock?

Hi fellas,

I was just wondering, how resistant are RO's and ROO's to external shocks? More precisely, how resistant are the 3120 based movements to shocks like drops, vibrations etc?

I normally ride and cycle a lot, do you guy think in the long-run these sort of external shocks kill the life span of these movements? I guess the answer is yes, but I would like to know the extent of potential damage.

I hope my query makes sense!

Any opinions?

I've worn my FC 44mm ROO running, working out, dropped it on carpet, and took several desk dives with it and it has shown zero performance issues nor any dings.

However, I have not dropped it on anything like concrete nor beat it particularly hard with any object. If you would do any serious physical activity (climbing, diving) I'd wear a Rolex or G-Shock instead.
