How resistant are RO's and ROO's to external shock?
Hi fellas,
I was just wondering, how resistant are RO's and ROO's to external shocks? More precisely, how resistant are the 3120 based movements to shocks like drops, vibrations etc? I normally ride and cycle a lot, do you guy think in the long-run these sort of external shocks kill the life span of these movements? I guess the answer is yes, but I would like to know the extent of potential damage. I hope my query makes sense! Any opinions? |

I've worn my FC 44mm ROO running, working out, dropped it on carpet, and took several desk dives with it and it has shown zero performance issues nor any dings.
However, I have not dropped it on anything like concrete nor beat it particularly hard with any object. If you would do any serious physical activity (climbing, diving) I'd wear a Rolex or G-Shock instead. |
