A new camera will bring out the beauty of this watch.

What is best a custom Rolex or a Rolex that is stuck in custom?

Buy a professional camera and you´re a professional
photographer, buy a flute and you own a flute.

Nice Jocke, but it does look just like your other photo's, buying a flute could have saved you $8,000

I don't have more space in my safe so I was forced to get it.

Ahh . . . Might that be a 18206? But how the heck could Rolex have misspelled the day part?

A good photographer, with decent lighting available, could make that watch look beautiful with a least 100 different cameras...

you sir could photograph that watch with a shoebox with a pin hole that has film on the inside and it would still look beautiful!

Didn't you get a D800 recently, Jocke? I seem to recall that.

Anyway, that's a beautiful shot and it's not surprising that in the right hands, the D3x would produce such a stunning shot, as it is the Nikon's literal flagship camera for such photography.

Congratulations!

Wow HRC kinda harsh man. Since it is your first post you are excused. You will find that our man Jocke is the man when it comes to taking pictures of watches. However you are correct in one aspect Jocke could make any watch with any camera in his hands look awesome! I just think your approach was a little to blunt and not appreciating what this man can do. He has photographed many a watch that me included have now purchased due to his talent. Just a little wisdom handed down.

Have a great day!

Aloha,

Tom
