Can anybody help me identifying this one?
20 years ago I inherited this pocket watch. I have only very limited information about what it is and where it came from - here is what I know:
The watch supposedly was given to my grand-grandfather as an anniversary gift for his 40th anniversary working at the Danish Railroad Transportation Company. I have no idea when he received it. It is made of 14k gold - I have never polished it (even though it looks like I should :-) The watch works fine and keeps good time. It runs fine for a couple of days on a full winding. I haven't done a scientific test on how much it looses or gains - but it runs decent. There is no marking of any kind on the dial. The second hand looks like it's "ticking" approx. 4 or 5 times per second and runs in a tempo that I would call semi-sweeping. Can anybody help me: - identify how old it is? - identify who made the watch? - identify what the markings on the inside of the "lid" mean? - give me any more information about it

It's been a while since I posted this - but let's see if some of the new members can help me identify what this is. I think this watch was given to my great-grandfather as a gift for 40 years of service at the Danish Railways, where he worked. Maybe some of the European members in here can help me figure out a little more about it. I have had it since my grandfather died, but don't know anything about it.
