Tapatalk is easiest way...but there are other options.
On the iPad, using the standard browser, you can also use the "Attach" icon (icon is shaped like a paperclip). It will open your photo files to choose a picture. Another option using the standard browser - upload your photo to a sharing site like Flickr, Photobucket, etc. Then paste that photo's URL using the "insert IMG" icon.
