I have an AP Diver that I really like but I have always have my doubts if its too large and honestly it is not the most comfortable watch in my stable. I end up always going back to my SS Daytona and my "No date" Sub.
I am having some thoughts if I should even keep the diver or look for different option, as I always come back to Rolex an option might be 2 Rolex for the diver or spice it up a little and try something else with the risk of going back to my Rolex rotation, I also have a 15400 and I do like it a lot and use it regularly as it is very comfortable, for me comfort is as important as quality and design, I don't want to put a lot of money if decided to switch.
Not even sure if I am willing to do it, I do love my diver just want to hear different opinions.

Any thoughts?

This may seem counterintuitive, but have you tried on the 44mm ROO? I also have the ss diver and tried on the 44 ss and fc and I have to say both were much more comfortable than my diver. I love my diver but I think the weight of it on a 42mm footprint makes it a little off balanced. The 44mm, even in SS was much more balanced and comfortable. Now pricing is still going to set you back a bit more...

I agree. Keep the SS diver and add either FF or VC Chrono. I will follow my direction like this in couple days. Good luck.
AP 44mm is a great great watch. But not all hands are big and will look unbalance on small wrist.

If comfort is your thing and you want to stay AP - try anything forged carbon...44mm FC...Diver FC or even the Bee.

I find the FC's really comfortable...

You also said you keep going back rolex and you really like the 15400...

Just tossing this out there - maybe you're not a rubber strap guy?

You can always get a SS bracelet to put on that Diver - way different feel and look. Did it from time to time with mine and loved it!

Great comments everyone, you really got me thinking, good options , at the end I think I need to start saving so I can trade up in case I need to, should I stay AP, move to PP or keep it Rolex, I love having options, I will let you know.

stick to rolex. bracelet is the most comfortable watch. go sub gold or gmt gold or ym2 gold

I will keep the Diver. Yes, it's not the most comfortable watch because of the case but it's a great weekend or outdoor watch. Unless it is so uncomfortable that you don't like to wear it because of the discomfort, then yes, it's time to sell it.

Add a bracelet to the Diver. Completely different feel and fit. I had dinner with a friend the other day and he also added a bracelet to his. Looks like it's the new trend. I've seen at least five Divers with bracelet in the last two months.

What is the process to order a bracelet, is it directly trough clearwater? I herad there is a looooong waiting list, is that the case? What's the cost of doing this?

I ordered mine through AP in Singapore and it took about a month to get it but be prepared to fork out about $3000 on it
