Finally found and independent Omega specialist that may be able to repair my father's watch.

I take it there's a pretty cool story behind the engraving...?

Does it read "ditto darling, Maria"? Had your father given your mother a watch with "I love you" on the case back?

Great piece!

I noticed you said "may be able" to repair the watch. If they can't help, give Al at Archer Watches in Canada a shout (easy to find with Google). He has an Omega parts account and lots of sources for hard to find parts. He had to search for a while but eventually found a jewel to replace on from my great grandfather's Elgin pocket watch.
