why doesn't rolex make the absolutely beautiful blue submariner available in stainless steel , i have the ss black sub c and i am very happy with it but i would of loved to have it in smurf blue anyone ?

there is also polished center links sub = white gold . so would they give blue to the stainless steel

Too late now, but IMO, they would have sold many more total Sub units if Rolex had

1) reserved green cremaic bezel/ green dial for their WG Sub, since green is their iconic color and so it should have been saved for their most expensive model ( and the warmer tone of WG vs SS would have looked smashing with warmer green ) ..so that ...

2) they could have released a SS Smurf ( instead of the Hulk ) at the $9k price point, with the SS black one slightly less, as is the case now.

After all, a watch that is built for the WATER should be more affordable in BLUE than golf course

if tomorrow rolex rolex makes a blue dial and bezel available for your stainless steel but charges you 3000 $ how many people who have subs would buy it ? i think that rolex could make a lot of money that way

Tudor is already here, though I'd imagine they will still be adding dealers to the system.

I like your logic but don't think Rolex share it! I do think they have got it right by reserving the blue/smurf for a white gold piece. If it was available in stainless steel then it would be too common and they already have a few of those. Surely many (granted, not all) people buy into the Rolex brand in the first place because they want something unique on their wrist, so keep the unique pieces in gold/platinum in the line up. AM.
