Good taste

So I went to Las Vegas a few weeks ago with my lady friend and visited the Rolex store at the Wynn based on some other posts here.

Wow what a selection. Very nice staff, and very helpful. They would be more than happy to take your winnings and place them on a Rolex or your money before it becomes a loss.

So my lady friend who knows nothing about Rolex watches, or cares to, she thinks of my watch as the other woman any way sees a platinum Daytona in the window and says, oooooh that's a nice watch.

Now I'm thinking to myself, there is someone who doesn't know a damn thing about watches, let alone Rolex's and the first one she is drawn to is a platty Daytona. Hmmmmmm.

So we are inside looking around and a few minutes later I notice a pretty little watch on her pretty little wrist. Nothing less than a platinum ladies datejust with pink mother of pearl dial.

I tell you fellas. I marry this girl, I better make lots of money.

I think you'll find that the Daytona and Datejust are white gold, not platinum.

I don't want to get technical, but according to chemistry alcohol IS a solution!

There is still no PL Daytona made, but the Lady DJ is in fact also made in PL (models 178246, 178296 and 178286).
