Incoming!!

Ok, I've had my share of Pams over the last few years. ( 312, 372, a 210, to name a few). I've flipped them all, for either other Pams or Rolex.

I have been primarily wearing my IWC pilot chrono since September as my daily wear, and I love it greatly. But after being Pam-less since the spring, I found myself craving another Pam. I missed the unique looks the presence and the strap changing most of all. So I am patiently awaiting my next Pam, and though I thought it before, I think this one is my true keeper.

Hopefully the fed ex guy gets here soon because I'm going to strain my neck at every truck I hear pass by my house! I am filled with anticipation, as many of you have probably felt too! Pictures and details forthcoming!

(edit) I didn't flip my IWC. I love it too much. That is for sure a keeper!

Once you "get it", it's impossible to stay away.

Presenting...

PAM 111! P Series, from DavidSW This watch seems to be BNIB to me. Sorry for the quick and dirty iphone pic. I am very happy! I like the rugby strap too. Now to get me some straps! I haven't had a sandwich dial since my 372, and that was almost 2 years ago

Believe me, if I gain some weight (not a problem around this time of year) I may be tempted to give the 372 another shot. It did sit well on my wrist, and was comfy. It just hung over my wrist a bit too much.

I hear ya. I knew I'd be back. I just didn't know when. But I knew it would be the 111 and was looking for the right example to pop up the last month or two. I thought about the 312 again, because I really did love it, but found it 'top heavy' as many say here. Just a bit too thick, otherwise perfect. Maybe one day OP will make a manual wind for the 312, like they did the 510 for the 111.

I ran after a fedex truck once down a few blocks in Manhattan and found my package.

Enjoy the 111!

Best,

Fred

111!!
That is one model I have always wanted. Lucky you!

Wear it in the best of health, and try not to flip this one. It's a solid keeper.
Cheers!

Thanks! I am indeed lucky. I will not flip it. This for me, represents the classic Panerai. Sandwich dial, 44mm, luminor, simple dial with sub dial.

I think if my budget allowed, I would've never flipped a single watch. (or at least a good 90% of them). Rarely do I buy something and immediately not like it.

Thanks! I'll try not to go too crazy with the straps this time. Buying 2nd hand is a good idea here.
