Ferrari watches?

Good morning! Hope everyone has a great Thursday.

Been looking for another watch to add to my collection before I add another rolex so I went to the mall just to see what's out there as I've never really looked at anything from regular boutiques and stuff. I came across a store that had a decent display of ferrari watches. I didn't even know ferrari makes watches sand the first and ONLY watch that stood out to me was the one pictured below. I haven't really heard of them and they range from $300 - $800 and was wondering if anyone has any of these. I gotta say I'll probably buy it next pay check online where I already found it cheaper.

What do you guys think? Give me an honest opinion if you think it's ugly, not a good watch, heard bad things of them etc.... The price for this at the store is $395 but can get it for $340 plus taxes. Online I found it for $263 shipped which is the cheapest I've seen. What you think?!!

These pictures are from online, I took pics myself but you can't see the full detail of the watch...

What brand is it (or who makes it)? It is not my cup of tea and I would likely not own one unless I owned a Ferrari. Even if I did, I would likely save up and look for one of the older Panerai Ferrari models.

Do what makes you happy though.

Personally, I would save the money for a more meaningful watch. If you insist on a "Ferrari" get the Panerai version.

I think it is unlikely Ferrari would license their super high end brand to a low end watch.

My guess is it is not a legit licensee... but that is just a guess.

I thought so to, but unfortunately their watches are inexpensive. But I don't know who makes them.

Not my cup of tea, but like my wife tells me, "your the one that is going to wear it, so get it if you like it".

Ferrari has licensed Acer, a traditionally lower end computer maker to make computers in the past (that were not overly expensive). They have also licensed with Puma - not real low end, but not high end by any means either.

Certainly not my cup of tea, but if you like it that is all that matters at the end of the day.

I´ve seen ferrari brand watches in my local shopping centre. They just look alright I suppose.... but not my idea of "a watch". Just looks like cashing in on a name.

Didn't Girrard Perragueax (or however its spelled) make Ferrari watches?

GP did make " Ferrari " watches for a while. Not now. Post # 12 is a Girard Perregaux.
Goes well with Black Ferrari with Yellow calipers although the classic color of Ferrari is red.
Cheers.
