Explorer II with Endlinks

Received this pair of endlinks from Smartyjones (George) yesterday. As I have yet to get myself a suitable leather strap, I tried them on using my stash of Nato straps. Looks real good I must say. Good job, George! Am truly satisfied. A little hard to put on when using the Nato strap though.

I'm not sure of the advantage of endlinks with leather or nato. Just the strap and case looks attractive.

That looks great. Amazing how those end links transform the piece.

The end links does make a world of different. No doubt without them the watch still looks great.

But I will have to admit that the inner part of the lug and case in a rolex wasn't finished in a way that it was meant to be exposed (i.e with s/n marking etc and the brushed finish too wasn't that refined compared to other parts of the watch). The endlinks perfectly do the job and make the watch more complete.

Both look great but I really like the endlink look!

Very nice. I'm thinking about getting a set for my Exp II. So what holds the end link in place ? I figure the strap you attach would go into the inner lug hole. So what does the end link attach to?
