Now thats a great picture but truth be told I would doubt if 85% of all sports watches sold ever see water other than the pool or perhaps a shower.

I'm going to recreate this shot when my new GMT arrives. Of course it'll need to warm up a bit first.

Not me either. After having the clear caseback installed on my Sub I had it pressure tested again. It's watertight.

Very cool pic Jeff.
It surprizes me that some Rolex owners are not comfy getting their watches wet.....isn't that why it's designed the way it is? I boil mine to sanitize it, because I never really know where it's been....gha |

My old gmt 23 years old has done a lot of: diving, flying( including 18,000 ft. with the door open dropping navy seals), sport biking, alot of boating and pool parties, traveled to over 27 countries, been to the artic circle -60 f. below, and has done some more things I can`t talk about. My gmt gets around and has lived the good life! lol

I've taken my GMT deep sea diving - inside a nuclear sub in 1970! But I've also been in the sea many times with it and in swimming pools hundreds of times - almost invariably diving into the deep end. Hell - what are we going on about - Rolex Oysters are the definitive diving watches.

Your kidding , right? Boiling a Rolex would NOT be a recommended practice by anyone. You could completely wreck all the rubber seals in your watch. Bad idea!

I take mine deep sea fishing in Montauk LI. I go ocean kayaking with it and occassionally will swim with it.....if its too rough I am just afraid I will get knocked into the sand and scratch it.
