I'm buying my 1st Rolex...What's the best website?

i'm buying my 1st Rolex. Want to buy my wife a ss / gold DJ with MOP and diamonds. Who do you recommend I buy it from? Who is the most reputable website. I want to make sure I get a good deal and a good watch from some one that has good customer service.

Thanks for your help,

Max

The For Sale section here at TRF is where I always put my money. I do lots of window shopping at ADs to hold and feel the watch but I only come here to actually make the purchase.

buying a first rolex and, on top of it, it's for the wife? in that case, i would give a lot of thought to a bricks and mortar AD over the internet. for the second, third, fourth.....TRF trusted seller.

Hang out here for awhile and you'll soon discover the top 3-5 sellers on TRF. Sellers here have not been vetted, so 'buy the seller' first.

Check the retail prices on Swissluxury.com, then purchase from an authorized dealer. Find one that offers a reasonable discount. Mayors?? I see u reside in Florida. Or find one out of state,or go to the Caribbean. I have purchased in several cities and found differing discounts . Also, a few would sell over the phone and mail out of state to save on taxes. Usually, though, one has to purchase at the store to have it mailed out of state. If, for example, you are in Atlanta, u could purchase and have it shipped out of state. All sorts of ways to save a few bucks.
Would strongly recommend that u purchase at an authorized dealer

That watch should be very discountable. May be worth travelling to somewhere out of state, negotiate a discount, then have it shipped to further save (assuming it is eligible for that).
It is a gift for your wife...do the right thing anf purchase new at an authorized dealer

It would be AD or here on TRF. I would steer clear of eBay and other online outlets. Good luck with your search and Welcome! :-)

I agree. My AD told me 15-20% discount on TT / Gold Non Professional series.
