I agree. I work in the auto transport business and that experience has given me a whole new appreciation for being patient, we have customers who want their high end car transported asap, they can't live without it, at some point we need to take a step back and just be patient, I understand it is exciting to get something new.

I can understand your frustration. You finally made a decision and you want it NOW. LOL When I chose my watch, they said initially they didn't have the one I wanted and had to order it in. I was a bit disappointed after weeks of agony trying to figure out which one I wanted, for it not to be available. So I sat patiently waiting to fill out paperwork when the saleslady sat down with a box and a very happy grin. They had one in their safe. :-D

Did the shop say when it might be in? Is there a way you can cancel that order if someone on TRF can find you one quickly? I don't know if this is an option or not for you.

I placed my deposit (paid in full actually) around Nov 20th. I was notified it should be here this weekend! Point is they are moving. Another AD was on a list for also got one in.

Be patient, it'll come!

My DJII was sold out in my area they have to store transfer the exact dial/bezel I wanted from another store that’s 5 hours away. It took them a week to do so, I know it drove me crazy. Trust me when its on you wrist, all the pain will go away.

You'll love it when it goes in for service. 8 weeks later... And they're still working on it

Try to buy it elsewhere. Rolex will not be shipping out anymore watches to its ADs until the beginning of January. If you want your watch before Xmas I would advise talking to some dealers here on the Forum

It doesn't sound like much longer. You've been through the longest phase I think. :-) I would however call the store frequently..maybe a Monday and a Thursday to ask politely if in. Hey, you are the customer. ;-) Just be pleasant and jovial..you won't be called names..LOO
