Nice rides in South Beach

I've never seen so many Rolls, Bentley's, Lamborghini's, Maserati's, etc in one place in my life! And the yachts were incredible. Didn't get as many shots as I wanted but here's a look. BTW, the last pic was of my ride.

Great pics Dan. Did you pull up next to any of them at a stoplight and rev the engine with your ride

. No but we were amazed how many vacationers AND locals pointed and wanted to take pics of us in our 3 wheeler. Maybe cause we looked so ridiculous. It was a blast to get around in though.

Very nice pictures Dan, brings my wife and I back down memory lane. We spent a lot of wonderful years living in Miami Beach, FL. We left in 1992.

It still looks the same. I guess it's time for a visit again.

JJ,
Those 50's era Thunderbirds with a "continental kit" are stunning!

Dan, if your're still in South Beach you might want to take in the Miami Boat Show that starts today. The really cool boats are in the water directly across from the Fountainbleu Hotel.

Buz,
I'm home now but the first pic is from the boat show. Massive setup was going on as we stopped for pics. A guy working on that yacht yelled over to us that it took $40.000.00 to fill the tank!

$40,000 to fill up! That's why I got out of boating. I had a 47 footer with 600 gallon tanks and as fuel started going up she just sat at the dock. I guess at today's fuel prices of $3.50 or more for diesel on the water it would take over $2000.00 to fill up. I can buy a lot of fish for that kind of money.
