Looking for local NY/NYC area indy for regular service
Hi all, I'm looking for a reliable, honest indy to service my 16234 blue dial Datejust. The watch is in mint condition, I've had it since new. This watch is very special to me not only because it's my first Rolex but it was given to me from a very special person. Normally I would go to Rolex NYC but I've heard mixed reviews and also the time frame. Will go to them at last resort but I was wondering if anyone knows a good local independent shop that will and knows how to service Rolex. The watch has never been serviced, it's in excellent condition. I've had it on a automatic winder and wear it ocationally. I've noticed that it runs a little fast. I had it on the auto watch window for 3 weeks and noticed it was 5min fast. Is this normal? I know it can def use a regular "service". Also anyone know what exactly is done during service and how long it will take from Rolex or local Indy? Thanks

I'd be interested in the same information.
I am really not thrilled with RSC NYC. Thanks. |

I have used J&J Watch Repair in Melville. They charge about $300 for a complete service.

RSC NY recommended
There is a lot of negative sentiment expressed about the RSC NY so I was hesitant to go but recently had an excellent experience there with two watches.
