Oysterdate Perpetual Frankenstein?
Hey guys, wondering if anyone can tell me if the dial and hands on this watch are original?
What Karat gold would have been used with a serial number of 279xxxx? Would this watch be worth $1200? Anything else you guys can see would be great to hear. |

Definitely 14k; 18k started in the early/mid 80's i believe. I'm certainly not an expert on these so I can't say for certain if the dial/hands are original, but it looks fine to me. Why would you believe it was a frankenwatch? If you don't trust the seller, I'd just avoid the whole experience...but if it's a seller you trust, sure, $1,200 is a fine deal.
Edit: Just saw some of your other posts and I hope this isn't from the same people who offered you an LV for $3k or a Daytona for $5k. Anyway, I love your blue linen 5500. |
