M serials ran from around August 2007 till around July 2008 possibly longer on some models. As for the parachrom hairspring possible but very doubtful, but no big deal either way.Watch should have the Rolex branding on rehaut,as for the AR coating doubtful, but AR coating is only on the cyclops window again no big deal. And as far as I am aware no 16610 sub has been reported in having a parachrom hairspring some of the last 14060M subs were reported having a parachom.

2. See above 3. Think the parachrom started with V serials (doesn't make a difference in the operation of the watch); no AR cyclops; should have engraved rehaut. Last edited by brettpaul; 16 December 2013 at 12:59 AM.. Reason: Too slow....what Padi said! |

I have 2 NOS blank papers offers.
1 from 2009 V serie 800€ more expensive than the other one and 1 date not sure M serie and cheaper... The blank paper are very appreciated because I want to put my son birth date on them (2009) but I want the papers to be consistent with the watch model of course... So here are my questions ;)

I do not see the point in "faking" the date on your blank papers.
There were no new serial prefix releases in 2009, and so an M or a V could easily have been produced during that year as they were both being sold concurrrently. There is absolutely no way to "know" exactly when any Rolex was truly manufactured. We, as a community, have put together lists of known sightings of serial numbers and tell ourselves that the watch was "made" during that year... but it is a false (but accepted) assurance. If you have blank papers, they are not valid for warranty purposes - which is the whole point of having them dated and named. You can certainly put your son's date on them; but doing so is a bit disingenuous...

Re:
Well obviously it is not for warranty purpose as if it was I would put the date of today!
I have been trying my luck finding a watch that would have a certain date, I'm the kind of believing that papers together with watch make a difference and in my search got some offer of NOS watch... So where could I find those " lists of known sightings of serial numbers and tell ourselves that the watch was "made" during that year... but it is a false (but accepted) assurance" so if I can get the serial number of those two watches I could guess an approximate accepted date of production?

Re:
Well in order to be the less "disingenuous" as you said, I'm trying to get a 2009 watch to have it consistent with the date on the papers...

Well M or V serials are as close as you will get, V serial could be your best bet but to guarantee to the exact 2009 date made.
