DJII or GMT?

Good morning everybody,

I am fairly new on this forum. I have been an avid watch collector many years ago, and now it's starting again...

I have almost bought a brand new DJII from DavidSW and then I have changed my mind on the dial color and I'm still waiting for David to get back to me to see if he can get the one I want now.

Ideally, I would buy the DJII and then a few months down the road, I would like to buy a GMT. I have two questions:

1) The difference between the Black Ceramic GMT and the BLNR is only the color? and that justify a $2,000 price difference?

Thank you in advance for your help and congratulations on a great forum with amazing pictures and information!

Ale

Yes, the difference is the color; beyond that they are identical.

Only you can decide if that justifies the difference in price you are willing to pay..

BLNR for the win. I don't really like the DJ2. I prefer the Explorer or the Omega AquaTerra.

Stay the course and get the DJII with the right dial first. Then get the BLNR down the road. Welcome to the forum.

People are looking for gifts! You won't regret the DJII. I got one about 2 weeks ago and I love it.

Get the DJ2 that you want.
The BLNR is an awesome watch. Prices will settle down with time and you can pick one up then.

Agree with this. The BLNR is new and very popular right now and not a lot of great deals to be had on that one....yet. Get the DJII and wait out the GMT. I think we'll see the prices come down eventually. If you don't care about the blue/black bezel, then there are some good deals on the black bezel GMTIIc on TRF all the time.
