Rolex Cellini 18k 4112: Fake or not? Advice welcome!
Hello everyone! I am thinking of purchasing a Rolex Cellini and I need your opinion about it with regards to its authenticity. I am aware that Cellini models are not highly sought but because it is something that I really like, I have no second thoughts of buying it. Merchant is currently selling it for $2590 (excluding 9% CA sales tax) and accepting price offers. He'll send the photos of the movement shortly. Cheers! Truly appreciate your help.

that's a high price for a very mediocre cellini.
just opinion, but that's what you need to consider. why not just get a standard datejust or tt datejust? |

Case back will have model reference #, 18K, and 2 hallmark stamps. Also serial number. I see none of that in seller's photos...

Thank you for your response! I like the simplicity of it but I might as well go for something else. Perhaps a Piaget or Perregaux.

You nailed it! I was just completely in doubt about getting this watch. Is there a forum here that sells pre-owned Rolex watches (well-maintained, of course)?

theboychild- Yes, excellent forum here on this website for trading. Do your homework on the watch and seller before you part with your money.

Thank you! After receiving insights, I will stick to the classic oyster perpetual datejust! Will parade it soon!
