Body piercings

I was wondering how many people here have their body pierced one way or the other...

I have 4 earrings (3 & 1) and 1 tongue piercing (since 1999)...

So what about you??

No piercings for me but I'm a big fan of those who do.
I remember a singer in the early 90's who had her nose pierced and a small chain going from her nose to her ear. I thought that was pretty neat. I also met a guy who had his nose pierced through the bridge right between his eyes. His jewelry looked like indian arrowheads. I don't know how he didn't go cross-eyed but it looked cool.
IMO the belly button danglies are very sexy on the right girl.
Yup, piercings are fun form of expression.
I AM NOT a fan of the giant hoop through the earlobe style. It's gonna be hard to hide that when interviewing.

One of the apprentices in my current class has the same piercing. I asked him about going cross-eyed, he said that it's so close to his eyes that he doesn't see it, but that it really gets cold in these Canadian winters.

I used to wear two earrings in my left ear. I took them out a while ago because I grew tired of them. Then one day last year I put the diamond back in for about six months.

My wife didn't like it. I asked her why not? You did when we first started dating 16 years ago?

I used to have an ear stud, but I kept losing the stopper (or whatever you call it) on the underside, so I eventually got fed up, got rid of it and got a tattoo instead - at least those don't fall off.

Just one in each ear. And I never wear earrings any more. What a dull Plain Jane I am! But at least I'm comfortable!

Hi Lisa, I've no pierceings but, my step-daughter has her tonuge pierced said that it did not hurt due to where the stud was placed. The big thing is keeping the hole from becoming infected.. thats what she says anyway :o)

An infected tongue does not sound good. I have head the the oral cavity is fairly infection-resistant and the tissues heal fast. My ears, on the other hand, always hurt after wearing earrings. Got tired of red, swollen lobes! Was it the $1.99 earrings?

I'm better off for it Lisa, it was just the surgical procedure that was difficult.

Have hubby buy you a pair of something in 14k gold - you'll never have that problem again!

2 in each ear, but haven't used the second ones in at least a decade.

Oh hell yeah did that hurt! Like a biatch! That's why I don't want to take it off... It was painful enough the first time, I don't want to go through that again! BTW, if I would take it off the hole would be closed in 24 hours. At least that's what I've been told....
