Glad you got it again, Jon!

But did you not state that you couldn't wear it at work, due to the ambulance equipment. Something about too little space and that the SD case height was too big and made the SD come in the way when reaching out for equipment?

Did you flip the SS Sub Date?

Anyway, damn, I miss my SD!

Congrats!

Yep still got the Sub, really really missed the SD, so much I contacted the person I had sold it to to see if they wanted to sell back. No joy. So purchased a BNIB M series from an AD. In fact I rang the AD to ask if they had one in stock, they did not. They were going to ring me to find out availability from Rolex. I had a phone call 5pm on Thursday to say one had just been delivered directly from Rolex, (which they were not expecting for another few weeks) and it was mine if I wanted.
Guess what, I WANTED. Picked it up yesterday. Will post photos soon.

I'm really in love with the SD. I love it's heft and everything about it. I love the non cyclops clean dial. i love the extra thickness of the bracelet. i love the polished edges of the bracelet.

You may be interested in this, can't say if its fact, but apparently the new Warranty cards have a green paperish covering by the address strip. I was told that this has been put in place on UK warranty cards to prevent fraud, as people were tampering with the dates purchased and name, address of owner by rubbing out using acetone or nail polish remover. Previously you could write directly on the card, the new ones you have to write on this paperish strip. If you attempt the above procedure, the strip is destroyed thereby showing tampered warranty cards.
