I'm heading up to NYC for an upcoming birthday and was wondering if there was a go-to of cool watch shops to visit while I'm up there? Don't know that I'm intending to buy anything, but a little window shopping never hurt anyone right?

This old fellow is known among my NYC friends to be a famous curmudgeon with an interesting collection of Soviet-era watches and thousands of watch bands in his shop. I've had mixed experiences with his repair work- some great, some iffy, but if you're just tire kicking and looking for a deal on something cool, it's worth a stop? Maybe?
