Hey TRF,

Well after much debate I have decided to list my 16550 Rolex Explorer II Polar.

I spent quite awhile searching for it as it is my birth year watch (R serial - 1987)

I have sold two watches here in the past few months and both buyers said I could use them for reference is needed as the transactions went perfect.
I have purchased two watches as well.
This one being one of them from Alfred (FNFZ4) as few months back.

When I purchased it from Alfred it was watch only and was serviced recently as it has a Amplitude of 282 with a beat error of .02 (see pic)

I have since added an original inner and outer box, booklets, hang tags, period correct cleaning cloth, and a NOS case back sticker.

The dial is original and doesn't lume anymore, but I believe that the hands have been replaced as they do lume however I can’t confirm.

Open 6 & 9's date wheel.

Crystal is clean and clear with no scratches or chips.

The Oyster Bracelet has little stretch due to age, it is original with correct marking to date to 1987. Has very light wear on the clasp and links as it was polished before I got it and I haven't worn it much or hard.

The Bezel is one of my favorite parts as it has the block numbers, different than 16570's.

I am looking due to the completeness of what is included to get $4,800 for it. This includes free shipping with Fedex in the US. Bank Wire accepted only.
