The annual pre Basel "My AD gave me a sneak peek" best new launch ideas

These are the new Rolex product launches someone's AD has promised are true. A 42mm Sub, a GMT with a Root Beer ceramic bezel, etc. There must be more!!! What other wacky additions are out there?

42mm sub I doubt will happen. Not a needed addition. Rootbeer GMT C on the other hand may a nice possibility. Would have a good spot in the line up, although Blnr just came out...

Joke...

It was meant to be a poke at all the sneak peeks that supposedly come from well informed insiders. Think of this as an Onion post...

No comments. Lesson learned!

I'd be suspicious of the price increase as well. My AD guaranteed me a price increase exactly a year ago when I bought my Sub-C, still waiting for that prediction to materialize.

I've heard that we should expect a Hello Kitty commemorative dial. It's a limited release and will be highly collectible.

Something tells me that the news will break here before it breaks at almost all AD's.

a prediction thread i guess

AD made no prediction BUT insinuated why WOULDENT Rolex release a new watch concerning their F1 sponsorship?. Maybe a 41-42mm chrono/date w/ceramic? silly to 'sponsor' F1 and not release a watch?

no chance i guess because 'conservative' Rolex would never intentionally throw anyone 'off'.........or would they? is the SS daytona 'ceramic' a 'trojan horse'?

all in good fun.......i love pre-basel threads

I predict that Rolex will scrape the whole ceramic bezel "experiment" and return to metal bezels!

It would be nice if Rolex made a DJII with a jubilee band.

Speaking of new models, as I mentioned in another thread, my next door neighbor's cousin's best friend's little sister knows a guy who works with a guy whose frat brother's step-mom's first husband's uncle knows a guy who used to have a roommate that worked for an AD - back in the 90's. And according to him, it's true. These are the new models.

I heard that the DD will get a perpetual calendar, the Daytona will be realeased in SS with a ceramic bezel and a date, and the Sub will no longer come with a oyster bracelet; now it`s either a pink NATO or a mesh
