Royal Oak Comfortable?
First post here under the AP section and just looking for some thoughts from you all...
Is the 41mm Royal Oak a pretty comfortable piece in comparison to the classic Rolex and Omega diver watches? I believe the RO model numbers starts with 15400... thanks in advance for your feedback. |

Extremely comfortable as long as you have a wrist of at least 7.25" in circumference.

I have a mid 6in wrist and find the 15400 comfortable. Keep in mind this is the same or smaller than the Omega divers.

If you have small wrist will still be comfortable if your wrist is quite flat across the top where the watch case sits.

That's my wrist size too and love mine. The 'shape' of the wrist matters too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yes it's a comfortable watch, but you do want to try it on as shape of your wrist will dictate comfort.

The RO wears well and 1.5 links is great for those who may not find the bracelet fitting the wrist size

Very comfortable and is superbly well balanced, does a great job staying centered on wrist.

Very comfy. Sits low on the wrist but has great presence. You don't forget it's there. The case back is not thick and of course shows the beautiful movement. |

Not in my opinion...
I could never fin my 15300 very comfortable and the 15400 even with an expensive half link does not fit quite right. Try it on and have the AD fit it to your size, then decide.

My 6.5" wrist finds the 15300 more comfortable than the 15400. However it's all about wrist shape.

It is comfortable but if you are used to Rolex you will feel it, not because of the weight but the shape, my Daytona is pretty much "invisible" and this one I do notice.

pretty comfortable, but I find my 14060m better due to microadjustments
the 15300 does not have that, and with a 1.5 link, in cold weather it's is very comfortable but on a hot Australian summers day like today, gets a bit tight |

Take this for what it's worth, but I personally didn't find mine to be all that comfortable. Granted, I have very thin wrists. The piece just always seemed very top-heavy and felt unstable. I haven't found that to be the case with Patek or ALS. Based on all the very positive comments in this thread, I would say I am in the minority. With that said, be sure to try one on at an AD before you spend some big money on a piece that might not work for you.
