Dear All

This is my debut in your great forum;

My new watch (BLNR) is running fast by around 6 seconds per day; I purchased the watch 10 days ago from ad AD, yet it has been worn for 5 days only.

Is it normal for new watches to run outside Cosc boundaries (-2 \ +4) range?

Any suggestions from your side; shall I keep monitoring the watch or shall I take it back to the AD?

Congrats on the blnr, as others have said wear the watch and enjoy it. Give it a few weeks and see if it sorts itself out.

Welcome to TRF! it's been my experience also to let your watch settle into your wearing habits. If you must check the timing, go to a known accurate source (e.g., time.gov) and check the average +/- over the period of a week. Good luck....

Without a picture it doesn't exist. But on another note, mucho congratulations. And as far as the new watch is concerned, I bought a 116000 which was running 12 seconds fast per day. I didn't track it over a week but it was consistent over four days. I brought it back to the AD (not where I bought it) and they sent it into Rolex for adjustment. I did have to pay for shipping to Rolex since I wasn't their customer. I'm currently waiting for its return in a couple of weeks. Search NIST time for an accurate clock to compare to.

My 114060 was running 4 seconds fast a day when I first got it, I have noticed when I work out or do activities with more motion it runs faster, but it's settled to +1/2 a day and when I leave it crown down at night it looses that time and works itself out to 0

Enjoy the watch! I'm jealous! The BLNR will probably be my next

I added a bit to my response since I'm going through more or less the same thing. You might took to your AD to have it adjusted if you aren't happy with its performance.

After a month or two and it's still +5 or more you can have it regulated by any decent watchmaker. Not a big deal at all.

I have had the sme watch as you for a month or so. My watch runs fast by a couple of seconds per day...... not a big deal. My Sub C runs a couple seconds slow a day. I fugure between the two I am right on time. Both watches look and feel amazing!
