Who has insurance

Having just brought my AP, and normal content insurance does not cover the value,
Do you all insure your watches
And if so and in the uk, any heads up on companies would be appreciated

Yes all of them are fully insured. Paying the monthly premium isnt fun but it really offers peace of mind and lets me wear them/enjoy them more.

I see you are UK based, I've got mine covered by John Lewis. There normal policy won't cover it if it's value exceeds £15k (from memory) but they do offer specialist insurance separately that will cover this amount.

I pay about 1.5% for all risks globally. It's probably more than I should be paying, but they load it hard on very high value items.

Is this insured in NYC? I checked them out and a $15,000 watch with a $1,000 deductible is quoted at $246 per year. Basically it is almost $1,000 per year to insure two divers (ss and ceramic) and a 15400.

You must have a really high deductible, I'm getting an estimate of $150 for $12k of coverage with $0 deductible.

Who has insurance

I have it through my home owners insurance - roughly 2% of the value of the item with a 150% guaranteed replacement cost of stated value.
