Shipping Question

Ladies, Gentlemen,

A few weeks back one us posted an excellent description of the "right way" to ship a Rolex. I can't find it in the Search function. Does anyone recall or have that saved?

Thanks.

Just be sure to choose USPS REGISTERED Mail. It's a bit slow, but very secure!

Just out of curiosity.. How do those who ship, set the watch?
- Do you unscrew and pull the crown out to stop the watch..or leave it in, with the watch running.. or what procedures do you do..???

If you're in the USA & are shipping within the USA, another vote for.............USPS registered/insured mail.

USPS Express mail will insure the watch to a $5000 max, if the value is higher you might want to use UPS and insure it for the full amount...
I use Fedex myself, But Fedex does NOT isure your watch for more then $500 and therefore I have a 3rd party that I use for insurance..
So Below $5000 USPS Express and above that UPS

..Maybe .. but what about any/all of the newcomers..or even the `vintage`members, who may be searching for `stuff..`- from the past.
Old threads often repeat themselves..yet some are not resolved or answered...!
History...does repeat itself...!!

Access to good information is always a good thing no matter how old it is.

USPS Registered Mail is the safest, but difficult to track and somewhat slow.
