Incoming- Vintage Diver
I've always admired the Omega Seamaster 300 vintage diver. Today I was presented one during a trade- This Omega ended up on my wrist.
Can't wait to find a nice shark bracelet..., Yes, it's old and worn, but I am always drawn to vintage divers from many makes...

Here is a slightly improved picture. I am enjoying reading about the different versions of 166.024 big triangle Omega.
A few questions for the Omega fans, -Should I put the original hand on it, as they match the dial better..? -Which metal strap would you install on it, 1 thick shark mesh, 2 thinner shark mesh, 3 Original 1039 mega bracelet, 4 Other..?

Big Triangle..
Hey Thanks, I assumed there were a few vintage Seamaster fans out there. Here is the movement pic. Also, this watch is keeping dead on time. I also like the push button quickset feature...

Awesome!
Nice original dial - you can see the dot on the 6' marker. How do the original hands look? I am curious - how does your lume respond to bright LED?

Very nice and honest vintage diver!
I would go with the original hands, and wear it on leather. If you must have a bracelet, the thinner steel mesh is more comfortable., IMO.

Nice 165 you have there. The original hands will be here next week- I'll post pics after I have them installed.
The only thing that lights up are the newer hands... Thanks for posting a pic of your omega...
