New GOLD Diver QEII Cup limited addition

Just seen this on the AP web site, I know some of you have been hoping AP would do a new gold Diver for some time, I think this looks amazing:

It looks nice... But someone should put a leash on the limited editions.... Too much!

It looks a bit Lebron James to me!

I wish they had made a gold case with rubberclad or ceramic bezel.

It's a novel idea, but also a funny one as I don't understand why a Diver watch is used to commemorate a horse racing event and a leather strap is supplied with a Diver watch
Nevertheless, I like it

Now we're talking! I think this watch looks great.

Mind you, I already quite like the Diver to start with but this model is fabulous.

I was wondering which regatta was going on in Hong Kong. Then realized it was horse racing. Then a diver watch.

Waaat

Nice watch though

Looks great to me but I'd love to see a rose gold case with ceramic bezel too.

I've bet on the QE2 a few times but this TT is not for me and a bit too Lebrony.

Is it an LE only sold in Hong Kong? No mention of where it's available in the presser

Looks nice, but as someone already mention - diver for horse racing on leather strap... Whats next? Diver NASA editon, Diver Mars edition :)

makes ZERO sense. all i can think is that the organizer who commissioned this watch just really likes the diver. and had the money to make it happen, sense be damned.

sort of like commissioning a rose gold DSSD for an around the world balloon flight competition.

One of the best looking watches I have ever seen out of AP. Love the mix of metals and colors on this one. If only they did both hands it gold it would be one of the best.

Surely gold as a bezel is just asking to be dinged?

As said before, gold with ceramic bezel would work much better

Just because it's a " diver" watch doesn't mean it's for diving.......who cares what straps it comes on?? It looks awesome! I wish the SS diver can come with something other than rubber....you would think for a 19K they can supply another strap???
