116613(Bluesy) or 216570(White)
Looking for opinions and insight! My two current watches are a Sub-C and Speedmaster. The speedmaster however, is going to a new home. It may find its way back one day, but for now, it's onto something else! I just find myself loving Rolex more than anything else. I can't help it. So, I've decided that the next purchase will either be a 116613(blue) or a 216570(white).
My thoughts on the 116613. I love my sub! Big time! When I try on the 116613, the blue dial and two tone bracelet are beautiful. The watch is both different but the same as my 116610. Is it to similar? Not sure. I really really like all the features of the ceramic models, so its easy for me to want the new model, not the older. The 216570. There is something about the all stainless and white dial that I like. Big time! Its a watch, that since its release, I've been drawn to. I also like the anti-bling factor. Its history is amazing, thats another plus! Oh, the wife thinks the blue one is "cute"! So, is it wrong to have both subs? Does the Explorer mix this up a bit? If only I had the funds to purchase both! Just looking for opinions Thanks, Brent |

Well, you have a Sub-C already, so I would go with the Explorer first, then buy the 116613 in blue!

You would have thought I wrote this post. I have i have been in the SAME EXACT predicament. I LOOOOOVVEEE the bluesy, but am afraid if I were to buy it that it would be redundant. I have always really like the polar Exp2, but not as much as the bluesy. However, a friend of mine is visiting from out of town and bought the polar Exp2 from a AD here and I have fallen back in love with it again.
Part of me wants the Exp2 for diversity, but like you, the bluesy is a stunner. I will following this thread to see what everyone else has to say. |

Maybe you and I should buy one of each, wear for a month,
then swap! I don't know what to do! Every time I see or try one on, I like it. Quote:

You need some gold in your life. The TT stands out ALOT more than any SS Sub.
My Classic TT blue but you get the point.....

I am fortunate to own both and the bluesy gets by far more wrist time. I spent an hour in the AD yesterday and nothing feels better or catches the eye more than my 16613. I actually bought it cheap to flip it but it's going nowhere now.

Could buy both vintage and be close to the price of the 116613.
I would get the Explorer II. White dial is great contrast to the sub, and has an orange hand for a pop of color. This is coming from a guy that flipped his bluesy in 4 months. |

Forget the Subc TT in Blue, get the real Bluesy. And the EXP II both used for just a little more than a new TT Subc.

This is a really tough decision but I would probably go with the BLUE!
Try them both on at an ad then decide |

TT Bluesey for the win! It's my sentimental favorite, as it's my first Rolex.

Seems like the 116613 is the favorite here. I guess you can never have to many subs anyway!

I would go the 116613 and leave the EXP for last.
