Short minute hands, superfluous minute markers, weird Roman numerals, boring design. No thanks.
The new Cellini Dual Time, however, works for some reason. |

Boring. I'd rather buy the new Longines Conquest or even the new Bulova Accutron (gold on leather) if I needed a dress watch.

I'm happy to leave dress watches, they do nothing for me whatsoever! Still, I can appreciate the dual time as being a step in the right direction for Rolex.

I like simplicity and the classic look. I personally think vintage fans like me will be all over this line.

I won't be buying one, because I lean towards sports watches. That said, I like the aesthetics in pictures and assume they will only be better in real life.

I've never liked watch uni-taskers. Meaning watches that are only apropos in single settings like fragile dress series, or clownish huge adornments.

For that type of watches, i prefer Patek Philippe! The cellini date and dual time looks good but i really don't like the Rolex crown on the dial..too big for a classic watch!..a painted logo like on the exp1 looks much nicer for a classic watch.

Rolex Cellini
I like the look of the dual time and this date model. I am more of a sports Stainless owner, but these two could end up on my wrist some day...

I like it a lot. The only problem for me is the price, which some have suggested will be around $12,000.
I might like to get one after some begin to hit the used market, although I'll be quite old by then and may have lost interest in accumulating more watches. This is certainly not the board for Cellini, as sports watches dominate here.

39mm is what the DDII's and DJII's should have been imho.
I doubt I'll ever own any but they're beautiful watches. I'd love to see a platinum version. |

Like the date and dual time a lot.
Is Cellini pronounced like that? Chill-lini. |

Hate that people turn their noses up because it's not a "sport" model whatever that is.

I like them all, especially the dual time. Unfortunately probably won't make it into the collection but would love it.

Cellini is pronounced "Chellini", like cello is pronounced "chello."

Not sure if I like the dual time. The two hands at the bottom are a little much. But I love the date model.

I'm with you. I think it looks great. However I've never owned a watch with leather strap. I like mine to have some weight and I guess that's why the majority of all mine have the newer bracelets. But tastes change over time. I also thought I've never be into two-tone watches either but now my 116613lb is my absolute favorite until Monday. Hopefully. Lol. Still waiting on FedEx.

Just curious doesnt a duel time watch require a date?
Without it seems half done.

The recent models from Cellini is seriously making me reconsider getting a JLC Reverso or Master Control as my dress watch. The edge still goes to JLC because of their reputation with dress watches, but not by a whole lot for me at this point.
