On the GMT2C, are the steel links all SOLID?
hello there,
Just a quick question: For the GMT2C, are the stee links all solid? I know that for the CERAMIC TT models, all the gold links are solid but I was not sure about CERAMIC NON-TT models, if their steel links were all solid. For any Ceramic model, are the links, no matter what the metal, SOLID? Thank you |

I find the image in your profile very disturbing, not sure what the point is.

It's not kind to criticize others for their looks

I was just saying to myself the same thing and that I didn't like looking at that image and that somehow I may attempt to avoid threads where the OP is so I'm not compelled to look. Then I read down and got to your post and realised I'm not alone. I think it's the exorcist movie chick.... |

While the newer so called solid link bracelet on the newer models might feel more substantial. On the newer type or so called solid links they are still machined but they are machined with holes drilled right through the metal. So in the real world they are as well technically hollow but not to the same extent as the older type. And in every day wearing would doubt if any real difference in strength or longevity of life as long as you keep them clean. That's the simple answer in the life of any Rolex oyster bracelet keep it clean and they will last 20-30 years plus. Some of my watches were used and abused as proper tool watches for 20 years yet they show no sign of so called stretch or wear yes they are scratched but that's all.Even the older type Oyster bracelets have been stress tested and will take 525 lbs pressure before breaking and that's enough to seriously damage your wrist.

For example, you are troubled by socks, and never in the history of horror/scary movies has there been a movie about possessed, demonic, zombie, serial killer or haunted socks but yet here you are freaked out by them. I have to respect that, how old are you that you can't. Know what I mean. |

I'm sorry if I offended anyone, I'm just kidding.
