leather strap for 1998 thunderbird

Bought my first Rolex. I would like to save wear on the bracelet and was thinking of a leather strap. Will I need anything new or will a strap hook right up? Also, does anyone have any recommendations for a quality strap? Thanks

Nice watch congrats.
I believe the size of the strap for your watch will be 20mm between the lugs.
There is a plethora of straps not he market, but I am not much help.....
I'm sure you will be inundated with suggestions shortly.

Welcome to TRF
YES there are many off the shelf options all over the watchworld. And there are also custom strap makers, too.

If you want custom TT end links, Smartyjones18 can sell you a pair to fill in the gaps when you install the strap.

Ended up selling my Thunderbird for a Subdate. But I did switch and I think it looked better.
