Picked up my wife's Rolex from the pawn shop

Picked up my wife's first Rolex it's a 1958. I put it on layaway 12/09/14 when I really didn't know to much about Rolex watches. I realized when I picked it up today it has the wrong bracelet on it. My wife will be surprised with it when she gets home from work today.

i love that dial...very nice!

the bracelet is a classic, riveted...found on a lot of early daytonas, explorers - i like the feel of it myself

You put it on layaway in the future? That's awesome! Definitely gives you extra time to get the cash together.

UPDATE: She came home for lunch and told me it's not for her she said it looked to outdated I respect her opinion. My local pawn shop has a lifetime upgrade policy with Rolex watches. I took it back explained to them what happened and I upgraded to one she will be happy with it was a 1200 dollar difference for this one.

That is why it's important to have the wife pick out her stuff, if not you will have to make several trips to get right.

Wiser words never spoken. I will never buy the Wiffer anything of value without her being present.

Not only is your wife very pretty she is also very smart.

If she keeps going the way she's going she will have a new Rolex in no time.
