Regretting getting the guidelock clasp...
Because now I'm ruined for anything that doesn't have it.

The Glidelock is indeed a great clasp, love it on my SubC.
That said, the previous version has its charms too, and has more than proven its mettle over many decades. Attached to the right Sub, I'm happy with either.

Glidelock is definitely an amazing feature....no question. In terms of aesthetics I still prefer the previous clasp.

I hear so much about these new bracelets/clasps - I have to admit, having the old tuna can clasp I have a little bit of bracelet envy from those with newer watches.

I LIKE my Easylink but am sure I would LOVE a Glidelock. Maybe someday Glidelock will be standard on the GMT and EXP too.

Glidelock should be standard on ALL watches, it's that good. My Omega is a butterfly clasp with NO adjustments and that does limit me from wearing it. This is more when it gets hot out and I'm constantly going between air conditioning and the heat. The sub is always ready. It is really nice to be able to open the clasp all the way to make sure that nothing is stretching when I put it on a watch pillow to wear something else.

May need to get one for the exp42 but I'm sure it's a small fortune.

Don't lose any sleep over it. I own both types and I don't see the newer clasp as necessarily an "upgrade". Different, but not better IMHO. I'm not jonesing to put a glidelock on all my watches. I honestly see the new clasp as having more moving parts / springs than the old one = more difficult / costly to maintain and less durable.

The only drawback of the glidelock clasp is that my wife can easily borrow it bec she an fit it to her smaller wrist with just an easy glide!

Funny thread. Yep, the new bracelet is wonderful. I also like all the noisy, tinkling sound my older Air King makes with the hollow links - even though it's harder to adjust the size.

I've said repeatedly on here that the Glidelock has ruined every other watch that isn't a Submariner. I think if I ever ditch the LV, it'd be for a blue TT. I think I need to cross the threshold into my 30s before I do that.
