Hulk or BLNR?

Hi everyone, Even though I purchased not long ago a Daytona, the 116515, I am thinking which model to buy next and there are 2 which I really like, the subc LV or the GMT 116710blnr, I like both of them and would like the opinion of others on the subject. The GMT would be a change in my collection since I already have a sub, but the Hulk would add a touch of "fun" with it's dial which changes color according to the ambient light.

Thanks in advance for your opinion and if possible to tell me also why you would choose one over the other.

I would choose the BLNR as I do not like that shade of green at all.

Well as I understand and saw at a dealer, is that there is not "that shade of green" because the dial really changes color according to the light, it can go from very light green to very dark, practically black in some cases, if it was only the color that you see on the rolex site I too wouldn't be interested in getting it, but the change of color is the fun part.

I would go for the blnr since you already have a sub.

I have a Daytona and was in the same predicament. I went for the BLNR, though I would say that they are both great and you can't go wrong.

Maybe if you have a white Daytona go BLNR and a black go hulk?

Then if you like it, get it.

I have seen it, touched it and tried it on and I stand by my view, I do not like that shade of green.

The ultimate tough choice. I'm deciding if I might sell my GMT or LVc in the future and can't decide. You know they're both great watches and there's no bad decision.

I went with the BLNR as I have nothing that even remotely goes well with green.

Sorry for purists but I don't like pepsi/coke bezels, like the black/blue though… The Hulk is really nice but I wonder if it's not too flashy and if I won't get bored of it, of course since I already have a sub the more logical conclusion would be the BLNR, anyways still have time to think about it, would like to get it before the summer though...

I chose the BLNR. For one I like it better and for two I like watches that are harder to find, and it still is for now.

As an aside the local AD had 3 Hulks in the show case last weekend.

It sounds to me like you've made up your mind.

But if you ask me, BLNR. This is from someone who flipped their Hulk after 3 months once the novelty of it wore off.

That's what I'm afraid of with the Hulk, to get bored after the novelty wears off, on one side I think it would be nice to have a "funner" watch, on the other side is it not too fun?? And since I have the black sub and don't have a GMT maybe better to take a BLNR, for now haven't made up my mind, really, that's why I need help in this matter

The Hulk stands out in a sea of black dials and bezels.

BLNR.

Il don't like the green on the Hulk either, it's just a couple of shades too light. The blue on the BLNR also changes with the light....

I have the rose gold Daytona with leather bracelet and ivory dial and black sub, so you think I should get the BLNR?

BLNR, I already have a SUB so I would get something else before I would buy another.

the Hulk dial is mesmerizing, but the ceramic insert is a bit too "milky" in the daylight, the shade is too light compared to the dial….

The BLNR is more versatile.

I think you would be okay if you have 3+ watches. The Hulk was only my second watch, so it really wasn't a good fit for a 1,2 combo.

If I had 3 other nice watches, it would have been a great 4th one for a "fun" change of pace.

I was in the same camp last week. One sang to me. Try them on and go with your gut. If either makes you have to think about it than maybe they're not the ones you're looking for.
