London GTG Saturday 7th June *WITH SPECIAL GUEST!!*
So it's that time of year again Gent's and the London Summer GTG beckons!!
And due to the presence of our very own forum stalwart Dalip being in the UK this year, it's gonna be on Saturday 7th June. My own thoughts are 'the usual' being The Dickens Inn http://www.dickensinn.co.uk/ anytime anyone wants to get there (I'm guessing say maybe 1.00 onwards?).... and then for dinner moving onto either at The Mala http://www.malarestaurant.co.uk/home.php or The Slug and Lettuce http://www.slugandlettuce.co.uk/slug-towerbridge/ (which used to be The Living Room). That other forum stalwart Paul (BH13GMT) and I will definitely be staying at The Tower Hotel http://www.guoman.com/hotels/united_...wer/index.html which currently has good availability and is strangely cheaper than the nearest Premier Inn http://www.premierinn.com/en/hotel/L...ity-tower-hill but there might well be deals to be had at other hotels in the immediate vicinity. I'll get up to The Dickens ASAP and put a deposit down to reserve an area for the Saturday, but after they've cocked it up the last couple of times I'll also do my very best to be there when they open on the Saturday to make sure that we get a half-decent seating area; hopefully the area 'by the double doors'. So there you have it chaps, an afternoon/weekend? of great friends, great food and a few half-decent watches too on Saturday 7th June with Dalip in attendance...... What could be better?? I sincerely hope there'll be a great turn-out this year and I'll start the ball rolling listing those that I already know will be in attendance..... Dalip (ermmmmm..... Dalip!) Spuds (Dan) BH13 GMT (Paul) The GMT Master (Chris) Xenophon (Nathan) Dingoo93 (Dino) Hopefully there'll be many others!! Please do let me know your thoughts and preferences though guys, if anyone fancies a change of venue or has an idea for a restaurant for dinner please do let me know. Looking forward to this already Chaps, it's gonna be great catching up with y'all again.....

I will be in London the previous week (looking at being there 2nd, 3rd and coming back North on the 4th) so unfortunately will have to miss out.

Great news Dan.
Off base pass sucessfully negotiated with mrs Bh13gmt. Should be a good one (they always are). I think I will be sporting my previously destroyed 1680 Sub that is due back in a couple of weeks. Looking forward to catching up with everyone.

Count me in.
Looking forward to catching up with old friend and meeting some new one too. Paul, I'll probably be coming from your postcode, so if I could catch a ride that would be cool. Now if I were to limit myself to one watch to bring along............ that's always the hard part. Oh and keeping with with Dan on the beers If I don't "Nathan out" at 8pm (which is the immensely sensible option) my vote is for Mala
