Here are the parts I have(plus a new spring)is there a setting inside this setting? Thanks

Hard to tell from this photo. The jewel is supposed to be two jewels that will sit in the in-setting that gets covered by the spring. Is your jewel scratched or is that dust?

On the first picture you can see how you have 2 jewels with a hole and a metal ring, and 2 capjewels (without a hole).
The capjewel fits perfectly in the jewel with the hole. It is crucial that you have a perfectly round drop of oil (9010) in between those 2 jewels. (pictures by my friend Ben Lam)

Cant understand what your saying. This jewel has the hole in the center and a setting around the girth. Mystery solved for me. I new I had this one but the jewel under the spring is missing. Is that2 2 missing under the spring or just one?
