Getting out of my business...

Hey guys I have terminated my partnership in my company and have sold my part of my construction business. I hold real estate investments, both residental and commmercial and will continue to add to my portfolio!

It has been a journey in the construction business, i have met a lot of great people and have served over 100 employees at any given time. My business has been in both Canada and the U.S. and I have had many great clients. I started this business when I was 19 by myself and one small crew and have built it up to serve many different areas of the construction industry.

My reason for selling is quite simple, i have done all i can do in this business and got the opportunity to sell at a great price.

I am diving deep into the game of real estate and am actually getting my license to become an agent. I have had offers from a few of the brokerages around my area and have sat in with the top agents/brokers and have realized the potentially to set up another great business.

The real estate market in ontario and actually across Canada has been going bonkers and even though it may have hit the top nothing negative has been forcasted. Even with the U.S. economy in shambles Canada has defined itself as being able to stand and even assist the U.S. through this turbulent time. With the increasing amount of baby boomers retiring and a lot of younger folk buying their first home a lot of transactions are going to happen over the next 10 years, REGARDLESS OF HOW THE ECONOMY IS DOING.

I am very excited to start this business and have almost completed my licensing.

Thanks guys and if you have any real estate or construction questions feel free to ask...

I had a business partner for a looooooong time and he was a @%$%£$% £$%£hole.

My life started working for me once I was able to buy the £$%£hole out.

I am also uncomfortable when I have a partner who has a name that is difficult to spell.

in all honesty guys my partner was a good guy...obviously there was differencs of opinions as there is in any business relationship. But, it the end I just didnt want to wake up and go to work in the morning, and i hate feeling that way.

Let me tell you all something.

If you dont enjoy your job find something you absolutely love and you will be so successful at it. A lot of people think money is success, money will come if you love what you do.

Amen Dauwaun. I love what I do, but I hate working for the man. I plan on starting my own gig someday.
