Little annoyed
My pam111 p which I purchased in dec seems to be gaining too much time circa 1 min a day !!!!
Spoken to panerai who have stated it's under warranty so they can rectify this. however, they will require the watch for approx 6 weeks which seems like a very long time ... Since I've had my PAM, my Rolex has had no wrist time at all!!! Looks like that's going to change for a couple months ..... Anyone else had this issue with their PAM? |

Yes
With a submariner 16610. Took it to the SF RSC and they de-magnetized it. Kept great time after that. And congrates on the 111P. I am receiving a 111G next week!

I think they quoted you the standard time whether 4 or 6 weeks. I got quoted 4 weeks, took them a week to return the watch to me after a simple demag.

if it only needs to be demagnetized then a local watch repair shop should be able to do it (or you could just buy a demagnetizer yourself online; small ones are quite cheap and seem to do the trick).

As has been said, it's worth it to check if it was magnetized before having it sent off for service. Good luck.

The 111 has a 6497 movement just like my 231.
If it requires adjustment it has a swan-neck arrangement which a watchmaker could do. As a warranty issue you may be stuck with the 6 weeks. A magnetised watch would be out by more that I minute/day IMO.

4-6 weeks isn't bad for service.
Patek takes about 6 months so it's all perspective. |

Buy a new Panerai. It'll make the 6 weeks fly by.
