WG Sub 116619 Question

I am looking to buy a used 116619. Is one serial number more desirable than the other? V, G or scrambled?

If you don't want to spend money on service right away, the latest serial number would be better, but considering the price range of that watch this should not be a concern.

Go for newer, and esp within two years of the stamped warranty date so still under warranty with Rolex.

On the WG 116619, Rolex has kept the same flat blue "Smurf" dial, and matching bezel. So as stated above, same watch since it's release.

Good luck, and welcome to TRF!

I'd get an older model, and haggle the price down pointing to the fact that a service is imminent.

While looking I tried to buy a V serial number and was offered only a small discount. Ended up buying a new scrambled serial.

Same watch and since they are not sold in high numbers as other stainless steel watches, no difference.

WG Sub 116619 Question

All the same. For the $$$ you will find them at for pre owned you very well may find a Bnib for just a bit more. One mentioned this above and I actually did the same.

Best of luck it is one of my favorites.
