Rolex Crystal Reference Chart
Hey Guys:
Anyone else confused about what is the correct replacement crystal for your watch? Here is a chart that makes life much less stressful; now I know what all the numbers listed over on VRF for original crystals mean: http://www.scribd.com/doc/87548472/R...Crystal-Number This here is a 25-19 !!

Nice chart, but...
I'm looking for a crystal part number for 116233. The chart doesn't list into these 6 digit references. Anybody know the part number of the crystal I'm looking for? Thanks.

Thank you!
For my own curiosity, a 295c is for submariner? And a 295 is for DJ? Or are they the same crystal? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Does anyone know what crystal and gasket are needed for the 114270 (Rolex Explorer I)? Is it the same set as for its predecessor, the 14270?

Hate to bump an old thread like this,
I am kind of doing a project, where I'm building my ideal sub. I'm using a 16610 base with a flat four bezel. I'm wanting to make it a bit more modern and make it no date. So as per now I just added a glidelock clasp I got of chrono24. I have contacted a watchmaker who can install the following but can't help me with sourcing parts. I am wanting to add a 114060 NO DATE dial, with the hands from the same watch. This I checked and that should be able to be installed. But I'm struggling with the crystal. I know a 16610 and a 14060 don't have the same case shape and don't have the same crystal. But I read the 16610 and the 116610 have the same crystal. I have found no clear information about the 114060 though, could anybody confirm. The 16610 seems to share its crystal diameter with a Daytona though, which is 30,5 mm. Anybody know if this would work? And which gasket do I use that of my 16610 or the Daytona one? If anybody could guide me in the right direction. I'd love that, love doing the research but it helps if someone helps :)

I don't know about 16610 and 116610 sharing a crystal (and from my quick Googling I can't confirm that), but IIRC 116610 and 114060 share crystal dimensions and are completely identical apart from the fact that one has a cyclops, while the other doesn't. Out of curiosity, why don't you take the 16610 crystal, remove the cyclops and the AR coating and call it a day.

Seeing as Chesterling found and bumped the thread (thank you) I guess I will ask my questions here as well (I already made a thread in general discussion). I have a 2017 GMT and it doesn't have AR coating underneath the crystal. I also have a 2024 GMT and it does have AR coating and I kinda like it. I am thinking of getting a new crystal for when I will end up sending my 2017 GMT in for service. Hence here are my questions:
1) Will the 12 series GMT crystal fit a 11 series GMT? 2) How do I make sure I order the part that will have AR underneath, seeing as earlies 12 series GMTs supposedly came without AR coating underneath the crystal? 3) Do you know anywhere I could source the crystal? Thank you in advance, everyone. |
