L-Series 16610 Sub
Hello All, I've got an L-Series Sub thats marked on the case side as 16610 and also has the Swiss T<25 on the dial. My questions are , when did Rolex start using Luminova ? What would the value of the watch be , it needs service and the bracelet is in rough shape (alot of stretch , clasp is beat, etc.) ? Thanks again !
Ken

Rolex transitioned to the Luminova dials in 1998 through 2000.
Your L model is a 1989/90 model was originally fitted with tritium.. Value could vary a bit depending on condition...

Thanks guys , how about the value ? The crystal has several small chips , the case is lightly scuffed , and the bracelet is pretty well beat...stretched , scuffed , etc. Thanks as always , BO !

Don't thank me, but Larry who did a great job compiling all the info. As for value, I'd say it's worth in the 1,800 US $ region due to its state. It would need service, costing US 500 $ plus a new crystal costing about 175 US $.
