Tudor 709260p

Can you help with a little question?? Did the Tudor 79260p come with a Rolex case (ie Rolex crown) and Tudor strap/buckle? Is it a question of the year it was manufactured?

The 79260P would have a Tudor crown, case back, and Prince Date dial. It came with either a leather strap complete w/ end links and Tudor shield deployant clasp or Tudor jubilee bracelet. I have heard of the Tudor crown being replaced w/ a Rolex crown during a service.

The earlier 791XX's came with Rolex crown, case back, and Oysterdate dial. The next reference, the 792XX was the transition from Rolex crown to Tudor shield branding. After that came the 792XXP.

Thanks for info. Would you see one with a Rolex crown and a tudor logo clasp?

Only if the crown was changed during a service. That might be due to the request of the owner [more possible on your side of the pond vs Rolex USA] due to perceived added value or the availability of parts, since both Tudor and Rolex Triploc crowns were exactly the same except for the logo.

No problem. But now you owe us some pics if one should land on your wrist.

this little beauty could be mine. 79180, case, crown and bracelet clasp signed Rolex. What do you reckon?

I reckon that's a real looker. Not sure about the Rolex clasp though. Every 79180 I've seen had a Tudor clasp. Not a big deal if authentic.
